Intermediate Pistol FCT-3
Intermediate Pistol FCT-3
Intermediate Pistol FCT-3
OVERVIEW
This class is designed to take your skills to the next level. Students will discuss and learn the fundamentals of moving and then shooting, receive in-depth training on malfunctions and how to clear them and learn different reloading techniques. As you notice, FTC follows the CRAWL, WALK, RUN method of instruction; all the courses stitch together as you do them in sequence, so we ensure students complete all of the courses and take advantage of every vital principle needed for the next class.
We will discuss different sight picture options and how they relate to speed and distance, learn one-handed shooting techniques, and get comprehensive training in foundational handgun marksmanship. This is one of the most essential courses in our foundation's Pistol series because you have mastered Pistol Basics FCT-101 and 102.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
This course is Step 3 of 3 in our foundational Pistol series. Basic Pistol FCT-102 or an equivalent course is required before you attend Handgun 103. The student must know and be able to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun and have demonstrated competence in working from a holster and performing reloads. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training with no course tuition reimbursement.
It is the student's responsibility to know their competency level. Please read the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering; if you have any questions, call or email us; it is all about mutual understanding.
